Bisa jadi itu salah satu alasan mengapa kalau jalan-jalan di sekitar kawasan ASEAN rasanya tidak terlalu jauh meninggalkan rumah. Bertambah seronok dengan dessert berupa rujak, es kacang merah, kue-kue tradisional seperti pukis, apem, bahkan dodol yang di sini disebut Sago Gula Melaka.
Tidak yakin cara menikmatinya masih sama seperti yang kami lakukan dulu: Menghisap keras-keras sampai daging siputnya tanggal dan meluncur ke dalam mulut. Saya dan Astari yang sudah kekenyangan menikmati hidagan utama tak melewatkan kesempatan berkeliling guna mencari tahu lebih banyak. Sekalipun aura dan gerak-gerik orang terkenal terbaca lewat bahasa tubuh, awalnya saya pikir itu hanya sebatas bahwa dia adalah bos di Restoran Rebung ini.
Dengan wajah penuh senyum, mengucapkan terima kasih sudah datang ke Kuala Lumpur, menyalami, dan menyediakan diri untuk diinterview. Chef Dato Ismail Ahmad membawa kami menghampiri meja prasmanan untuk diterangkan satu persatu mengenai hidangan yang akan dinikmati.
